Our Services

“Restorative dentistry” is the term dental professionals use to explain how they replace missing or damaged teeth. Fillings, crowns (“caps”), bridges and implants are common restorative options. The goal is to bring back your natural smile and prevent future oral health issues.

Root canal treatment(RCT) is a dental procedure for the infected pulp of a tooth which is intended to result in the elimination of infection and protection of the remaining sound tooth structure from future microbial invasion. When decay gets into the softcore, the pulp can become inflamed or infected, or even necrotic (dead). A root canal is needed to clean out the decay.

Scaling and root planing (deep cleaning) is a procedure involving the removal of dental plaque and calculus and then smoothing of the (exposed) surfaces of the enamel and roots.

Dental extraction is the painless removal of teeth from the socket in the alveolar bone.

When do you need extraction?

Your dentist will plan for an extraction only when there is absolutely no other possible way out to save the tooth in general cases while sometimes it might be necessary due to various other reasons like mal position of the tooth, cosmetic dental treatments, orthodontic treatment etc.

What is a denture?

People wear dentures to replace lost or missing teeth so they can enjoy a healthy diet and smile with confidence. Dentures are made of either acrylic (plastic) or metal.
A ‘complete’ or ‘full’ denture is one which replaces all the natural teeth in either the upper or lower jaw.
A ‘partial’ denture fills in the spaces left by lost or missing teeth. It may be fastened to your natural teeth with metal clasps or ‘precision attachments’.

Crowns and bridges are a fixed solution to missing or damaged teeth. This restorative procedure uses prosthetic devices to return your smile to its natural state. A crown is used when the tooth structure is damaged or fractured. A bridge is used when one or more teeth are missing.

A dental implant is a screw like component that interfaces with the bone of the jaw to support a crown, bridge or denture etc.

Orthodontic treatment is a way of straightening or moving teeth, to improve the appearance of the teeth and how they work.

When do you need orthodontic treatment?

Your dentist might recommend it if you have crowded or crooked teeth. Orthodontic treatment will straighten the teeth or move them into a better position. This can improve their appearance and the way the teeth bite together, while also making them easier to clean. Some people have upper front teeth that stick out and look unsightly. These 'prominent' teeth are more likely to be damaged, but orthodontic treatment can move them back into line. When the teeth don't meet correctly, this can strain the jaw muscles, causing jaw and joint problems and sometimes headaches. Orthodontic treatment can help you.

It happens to all of us as we age — our teeth become stained, worn, discolored, misaligned, and even chipped or broken. But there’s something that can help: cosmetic dentistry.
Cosmetic dentistry isn’t just something that’s “nice to have” because it makes your smile look better. Misaligned, crooked, and chipped teeth can have a huge impact on your oral health, your speech, how you eat, bite, and more.
We’ll review some of the most common cosmetic dentistry treatments, including the benefits and what you can expect from treatment, to help you determine if cosmetic dentistry is the right option for you. Let’s get started.

One of the most important components of pediatric dentistry is child psychology. Pediatric dentists are trained to create a friendly, fun, social atmosphere for visiting children, and always avoid threatening words like “drill,” “needle,” and “injection.” Dental phobias beginning in childhood often continue into adulthood, so it is of paramount importance that children have positive experiences and find their “dental home” as early as possible.

Tooth decay damages your teeth and leads to fillings or even extractions. Decay happens when sugar reacts with the bacteria in plaque. This forms the acids that attack the teeth and destroy the enamel. After this happens many times, the tooth enamel may break down, forming a hole or 'cavity' into the dentine. The tooth can then decay more quickly.

As normal human beings, we tend to thrive with a set schedule. With the Covid-19 pandemic, all the schedules have been thrown to the wind. It's probably been difficult for you to get in to see a dentist, or you're worried about potential consequences.
We've all probably slacked off a little on our teeth health in the past year. With many people working from home it's been easy to over-indulge in sweets and coffee. Did you know that drinking coffee might be bad for your teeth? So it's important to know how seemingly innocent drinks are potentially affecting your teeth health.
Keep reading to find out if coffee is bad for your teeth and what to do about it.

Most people are now aware that smoking is bad for their health. It can cause many different medical problems and, in some cases, fatal diseases. However, many people don't realise the damage that smoking does to their mouth, gums and teeth.

Lots of small signs can show that you have bad breath. Have you noticed people stepping away from you when you start to talk? Do people turn their cheek when you kiss them goodbye? If you think you might have bad breath, there is a simple test that you can do. Just lick the inside of your wrist and sniff - if the smell is bad, you can be fairly sure that your breath is too. Or, ask a very good friend to be absolutely honest with you; but do make sure they are a true friend.

Brushing your teeth is an important part of your dental care routine. For a healthy mouth and smile the ADA recommends you:

  • Brush your teeth twice a day with a soft-bristled brush. The size and shape of your brush should fit your mouth allowing you to reach all areas easily.
  • Replace your toothbrush every three or four months, or sooner if the bristles are frayed. A worn toothbrush won’t do a good job of cleaning your teeth.
  • Make sure to use an ADA-accepted fluoride toothpaste.

Fluoride is a mineral found naturally in water, soil, and air. Almost all water contains some fluoride, but fluoride levels can vary depending on where your water comes from.In addition, fluoride is added to many public water supplies in America. The amount added varies by area, and not all areas add fluoride

Erosion is the loss of tooth enamel caused by acid attack. Enamel is the hard, protective coating of the tooth, which protects the sensitive dentine underneath. When the enamel is worn away, the dentine underneath is exposed, which may lead to pain and sensitivity.

Wisdom teeth are the third molars and typically don’t come in until you are 17-21 years old. Compared to the average age when the rest of our adult teeth come in (6-7 years old). However, with time comes the increased chance of complication, as many wisdom teeth struggle finding room to grow in the mouth. That’s why wisdom teeth removal is so common.

It is recommended that children should go to the dentist with their parents as soon as possible. You should then take them regularly, as often as your dental team recommend. This will let them get used to the noises, smells and surroundings and prepare them for future visits. The earlier these visits start, the more relaxed the children will be

A smile is more than just a sign of happiness. Did you know it can also improve your health and the moods of those around you? We’ll review the health benefits of smiling, how your oral health impacts your smile, and some ways to add more smiling to your life.

Most people have heard of cancer affecting parts of the body such as the lungs or breasts. However, cancer can appear in the mouth, where the disease can affect the lips, tongue, cheeks and throat.
